I’ve been a part of content marketing teams at every stage – from being the first and only content marketer to joining content teams as the lead. I’ve built and led teams from the ground up, have joined teams where I’ve developed existing employee skills and hired additional talent, and have managed internal and external creators.  

I work across organizations with demand generation, sales, product, engineering, and support leads to drive traffic, build trust with potential and current users, and deliver strategic narratives that achieve business goals.

Content Strategy

Content is one of the foundational pieces of the modern marketing puzzle. I’ve seen firsthand how high-quality, brand-aware content supports paid, owned, and earned marketing to find and engage with the right audience and convert them into customers.

I’ve written strategic narratives that include a variety of content types to support various stages of content engagement throughout the buyer and customer journeys. 

Content Operations

I bring a systems-based, repeatable approach to content creation that gives teams clarity and structure to produce high-quality content that engages audiences at every stage of their journey with the brand. 

I’ve built and scaled content teams with internal and external talent and have coached content managers to plan editorial calendars and manage creative resources. My teams collaborate across organizations to create brand-aware content that supports business goals.

SCALEFACTOR // 2016 - 2020

I joined ScaleFactor as the first marketing hire just before we began Techstars. I quickly identified and prioritized the power of content in our strategy. I built an editorial calendar, grew our blog content by 4x YoY, and launched a resource center with 12 gated eBooks before building out the team internally.

Our multidisciplinary team of creatives worked together to expand the content program to include gated calculators, webinars, a podcast, and Ask the Experts, a digital glossary for small business owners. In Q2 2020, the team grew non-branded organic web traffic 150% QoQ.
